City of Espoo

The city of Espoo is a part of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Although it’s the second biggest city in Finland (right after Helsinki), there is no clear city centre but five regional centres, each size of a medium-sized Finnish city. Therefore the city life doesn’t feel so hectic in Espoo and the nature is near everywhere you go. Headquarters of many international companies are based in Espoo, such as Nokia, Kone and Rovio.

Leppävaara is one of the regional centres in Espoo. The popular shopping center Sello is situated in Leppävaara.
